Descriptive
This walk will allow you to see some typical villages of Bozel, following the "Miner Path" which was the miner's itinerary who went up to Tincave's mine which was still open right up to 1960.
Visitor alert :
Be vigilant in areas where pedestrians and vehicles share the road (shared lanes, road crossings, pavement crossings, etc.).
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step :
Departure: Tourist Office.
1/ Go to the church and walk around it on the right.
2/ Walk up alongside the Sarrazine Tower, then take the ‘Chemin du Mont Jovet’ to Villemartin.
3/ In Villemartin, walk past the St Jacques chapel and go up Rue de La Grande Sarrire.
4/ At the top, take the street on the right for 50 metres, then turn left onto the path leading to Le Râtelard, then Lachenal.
5/ Continue, crossing Le Bonrieu, to Tincave. From the bottom of this village, descend to Bozel.
