Refuge des Lacs Merlet
Descriptive
Typical mountain refuge, on the edge of the Merlet lakes, in the Parc de la Vanoise. Exceptional panorama.
Quiet, small-capacity refuge: half-board upon reservation.
open to all for lunch (no reservation required), crêpes and drinks available at all times.
Guarded in summer from mid-June to the end of September, 14 dormitory places in the refuge and 8 bivouac places.
Reservations required, half-board only, rates from 32€.
Snack bar for lunch from 12pm to 2:30pm, no reservations possible for lunch.
Drinks, desserts and crêpes available at all times.
In winter, the refuge is unguarded, but booking is compulsory via the refuge website: price €10/night.
