Guarded refuge from mid-June to mid-September.
In the heart of the Vanoise National Park, the warden welcomes you to an old sheepfold renovated in 1985.

As the Refuge's janitor since 2015 and a native of the village, I'm committed to offering hikers an authentic experience. So that everyone can discover this unspoilt environment, with respect for the environment and minimal impact.
Sustainable tourism :
In this remote location, with no modern energy resources, we do our utmost to offer you a simple yet high-quality restaurant. We use as many local and regional products as possible.
Some are also organically grown.

1/2 day hike:
Lac des Echines: 1h30, ascent + 400m, chamois, panorama.
Chalet d'alpage, Plan du sel: 1h, ascent + 250m, milking cows, Beaufort cheese-making.
Day hikes:
Tour du Vallaisonnay: 8h, ascent + 600m, ascent - 1000m, panorama, animals.
Col du Palet: 3h, ascent + 700m, flowers, chamois.
