The Col de la Loze was the playground of cycling pros at the Tour de l’Avenir in 2019, a legendary stage at the 2020 Tour de France and seems to be on the bucket list of an ever-increasing number of cycling enthusiasts.
Departing from Brides-les-Bains, the route takes you just over 22 kilometres towards the Col de la Loze (featuring 1,715 metres of elevation with some sections having a 20% gradient!).
The local authority has held the “Col de la Loze Challenge” cycling sportive every summer since 2020.

In June, the restaurant is only open on weekends.
In a warm setting in an exceptional location at the heart of la Vanoise, at the gates of the resorts, the restaurant is accessible summer and winter. Half-board for refuge visitors. Terrace, library, and garden at your disposal.
In a refuge with a traditional, welcoming setting, facing the mountains, charmingly decorated and with a real warm mountain atmosphere, you will enjoy only plain, simple cuisine. Savoy specialities, gourmet dishes, a la carte and set menu.
The dining room, completely non-smoking, is a veritable museum (paintings, engravings, old mountain objects), with a library and a lounge area around the central fireplace.
For children, a vast playground laid out on the grass in front of the terrace where your kids can amuse themselves in complete safety. Inside, a small play and reading area with loads of children's books.
